Malaysian Biotechnology Corporation (BiotechCorp) and Johor Biotechnology and Biodiversity Corporation (J-Biotech) are jointly organizing Bio Johor 2014, which will be held from 25 – 27 August 2014 at Persada Johor Convention Centre, Johor Bahru.

BIO JOHOR 2014, Biotechnology Conference and Exhibition, serves as an important platform for Johor, as well as the regional biotechnology & bio-based industry players to highlight, discuss, network, explore and expand collaboration opportunities towards advancing bio-based and biotech activities. This year initiative will focus on promoting bio-based investments through building a robust and sustainable bioeconomy in the state of Johor.

Unlocking Johor’s Bioeconomy Potential

Bioeconomy holds the key to unlocking the doors to the intensification of commercialization of new and sustainable bio-based resources. As the state of Johor seeks to undertake this noble effort, more information needs to be gathered and shared about the current landscape of the biotechnology and bio-based industries across Johor in Malaysia.
