YBhg Dato’ Iskandar Dzulkanain Abdul Khalid, a Malaysian, was appointed by the Honourable Prime Minister as the Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Malaysian Bioeconomy Development Corporation Sdn Bhd on 25 January 2021.
With over 20 years of experience in the corporate world, Dato’ Iskandar Dzulkarnain has led companies across various sectors including property and real estate investments, housing development, tourism, infrastructure, telecommunications, and financial services. He currently holds directorship positions at Miqhail Holdings Sdn Bhd, Muqhriz & Miqhail Sdn Bhd, Property Builder (Kuala Kedah) Sdn Bhd, and PT Pinang Witmas Sejati.
Dato’ Iskandar Dzulkarnain is also the Head of the Kuala Kangsar Division of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (BERSATU) since 2019 and became a member of BERSATU’s Supreme Leadership Council in 2020. In 2019, he was appointed as the board member of Royal Perak Gold Club and Treasurer of Perak Football Association (PAFA). He was formerly the Political Secretary to the Perak Chief Minister from 2018-2020.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in business, human resources, and marketing from Edith Cowan University, Australia.
