Dr. Manaf joined the Malaysian Biotechnology Corporation Sdn Bhd as the Senior Vice-President, Agriculture in January 2010 and is now responsible for University-Industry Partnership department under the CEO’s Office.

He has been in various industries, namely academia, building and construction, IT, oil and gas, chemicals, fertilizers and pharmaceuticals. He has been in the roles of researcher, extension, marketing and sales. He has worked with ICI, PETRONAS, GLC’s and other public-listed companies as well as private ones.

Prior to joining BiotechCorp he was the General Manager in charge of export sales and then as the Chief Scientific Officer of a leading local pharmaceutical company.

He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville majoring in physical chemistry and minoring in Inorganic Chemistry. He also holds an MBA degree from Ohio University.
