The MSI Bee Farming Handover ceremony will take place on 5 April 2016 at Mardi Kuala Linggi, Melaka. Deputy Minister of Science, Technology & Innovation (MOSTI), Datuk Abu Bakar Mohamad Diah is invited to officiate the handover ceremony.

The MSI Honey Bee Production Project through Bioeconomy Community Development Programme (BCDP) is facilitated by BiotechCorp and is one of the recipients of the MOSTI Social Innovation (MSI) Fund. Through this Project, Flora Bee Hive, an anchor company for the Honey Bee Production Project under BCDP and Bioeconomy Transformation Programme (BTP), provided technical training, apiculture equipment, and 54 boxes with bee colonies to 8 members of the Persatuan Penternak Madu Lebah Komersial Kuala Linggi for contract farming purposes through a buy-back guarantee agreement.
