Technology Management and Innovation (TMI)
The Technology Management and Innovation Division was established as part of the National Biotechnology Policy to spearhead the creation and commercialisation of new knowledge to spur long-term, knowledge-based biotechnology capabilities.
Objectives
a) To create a knowledge-based industry
b) Increase in number of knowledge workers, improve skill sets and knowledge of Malaysian human capital
c) Strengthen research & development applications
d) Application of technology creates new growth opportunities to the industry
