METabolic EXplorer develops industrial bio-processes using renewable and sustainable raw materials for the production of “green” chemicals which is used in a wide range of everyday products such as paints, solvents, textile fibers  animal feed supplements, adhesives etc. The company designs high-performance microorganisms that can transform plant-derived raw materials into bulk chemical compounds which can be used-to replace fossil fuel derived chemicals produced via chemical synthesis.

The France-based company which is listed on the Paris Euronext stock exchange, seeks limited-exclusivity industrial alliances and joint-ventures with key players in the chemicals industry.

METabolic EXplorer has established a PDO (1,3 propanediol) manufacturing plant at the Bio-XCell Park which is located within the Iskandar region in the state of Johor, Malaysia.
