Biotech Alliance International (BAI) is involved in the provision of a customised waste management system, or an integrated biogas and BAIGUS™ Advance Furrow Composting System. Palm oil mills may adopt the company’s environmentally sustainable system to treat palm waste and solve its waste disposal problem.

The technology involves the conversion of empty fruit bunch (EFB), palm oil mill slurry and effluent (POME) and any other biodegradable waste into organic fertiliser. Project owners may also explore the possibility of enhancing organic nutrients with BAI’s range of nutrient enriched micro-organisms
