Company Description

JQ Biotech is a subsidiary of Woodman Holdings Sdn Bhd, involved in the development, production and commercialisation of microbial-based liquid fertilisers, particularly for the oil palm industry. There are two types of biofertilisers that are manufactured by JQ Biotech:

1. A premium biofertiliser to be applied to the soil which contains a cocktail of beneficial microbes.
2. A biofertiliser to be applied to the fruit bunches, which contains a combination of palm-based enzymes and herbicides.

JQ Biotech’s fertilisers were developed with the objective of:

1. Improving yield production by increasing the bunch number and bunch weight
2. Reducing the cost of fertiliser application by reducing the dosage of chemical fertiliser
3. Increasing the nutrient uptake performance through comparison of fruit bunch results.

The company’s activities also includes laboratory service and R&D in agriculture especially oil palm related industries.
