YBhg Dato’ Ts Dr Nagulendran a/l Kangayatkarasu was appointed to the Board of Directors of Bioeconomy Corporation on 7 July 2026.
He holds a Doctorate from the University of Nottingham and is a Chevening Scholar. YBhg Dato’ Ts Dr Nagulendran possesses extensive expertise in policy formulation, governance, regulatory development, diplomacy, negotiations, and stakeholder engagement, with a strong focus on advancing science, technology, innovation, and sustainability agendas.
A distinguished public sector leader, YBhg Dato’ Ts Dr Nagulendran brings extensive experience in policy development, governance, and stakeholder engagement. Throughout his public service career, he has held a range of senior leadership positions, contributing significantly to the formulation of national policies and the advancement of strategic priorities in science, technology, innovation, and sustainable development.
He currently serves as the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, a position he has held since March 2026.
